There are many things that I want to accomplish in my life.  As I have thought about what is important to me and considered the things I have learned in N.O.V.A. I know that I need a plan to make it happen.  I need to decide what “My Roadmap to the Path of Excellence” is.  The first point on my path is to take advantage of the many opportunities I have.  I want to open the way to many options in my life.  I’ll do this by taking advantage of harder classes that give me a challenge and increase my knowledge.  I want to develop talents and skills.  Right now I am taking piano lessons.  In the future I hope to take voice lessons and learn to draw.  I also want to serve others.  I love to help younger kids and even my dad at work.  It’s fun to learn new things.  The second point on my path is to be healthy and strong.  I will do this by avoiding drugs, alcohol, and tobacco so I will be free of addictions.  I will also eat healthy foods, and get exercise.  This way I can have fun, feel good, and enjoy life.  The next point on my path is to recognize the many things in my life that I value.  I value my family and friends because they help me through my hard times.  I value being a friend to as many people as I can because it makes me feel happy.  I also value my church and education and the goals they help me to achieve.  Knowing what I value will help me throughout my life.  The N.O.V.A. program has been a wonderful experience for me and helped lead me to “My Path of Excellence.”  I know I will continue to add points to my path as I grow older because I know what is good for me to do.  I will try to do the best I can and better so I can be healthy and happy.  I love my life and want to live it as fully as possible.  I want to be optimistic and happy and do the best I can.  The N.O.V.A. program has helped me decide this.  I now know what I want as “My Roadmap to the Path of Excellence.”
